If you do not have a tracking number, you can track your package by using a Reference Number if provided by the shipper. Alternatively, you can sign up for UPS My Choice, which allows you to view all incoming shipments tied to your address. This digital platform provides a comprehensive overview of your delivery schedule without needing individual codes.
UPS drivers typically deliver packages between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM for residential addresses. If the status says out for delivery, it means the package is on the vehicle and should arrive by the end of the day. If it is past 7:00 PM and you have not received it, check for a delivery notice or wait until the following business morning.
Tracking updates may not occur in real-time if a package is in long-haul transit between major hubs like Louisville or London. Scans only occur when the parcel arrives at or departs from a sorting facility. During high-volume periods or international transit, it is common for several days to pass without a new status scan.
You can request a delivery change through the UPS Delivery Intercept service or by using the UPS My Choice dashboard. Options include redirecting the package to a UPS Access Point location, a neighbor, or a different address entirely. Please note that some address changes may involve a service fee or requires authorization from the original shipper.
UPS offers Saturday delivery for most residential areas through services like UPS Ground and UPS Next Day Air. Sunday delivery is primarily available through the UPS SurePost service and specific retail partnerships. Availability depends on the service level chosen by the sender and the geographical location of the recipient.
